Adjustment Disorder is a mental health condition, which may be a strong emotional or behavioral reaction that is experienced after a stressful life event. It is important to note that while not all people who experience a stressful life event go through adjustment disorder, a few people do.

In general, the symptoms related to adjustment disorder are experienced within 3 months of the stressful life event. In most cases, they are more severe than the expected level.

Difficulty in talking / being with others
Avoiding the day-to-day tasks
Being worried, afraid, nervous
